Juicy Jay East Coast IPA

My darling MM brought me a 32oz crowler of Juicy Jay East Coast IPA all the way from Charlotte, North Carolina, where it’s brewed by Legion Brewing. The 6.3% alcohol, 68 IBU ale is a milky orange grog. It has a mango and tangerine aroma, with a hefty bitter hint. The taste has significant citrus elements, though less assertive than I was expecting.

Sweet, but not saccharine; bitter, but not acerbic, this beer was quite well balanced. It tasted great, though a bit more bitterness on the finish would have sealed the deal for me.
